Job summary Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a Clerical Officer/Receptionist/Ward Clerk to join a busy Child Health Team. This is a busy role, involving a wide variety of tasks including admin duties, dealing with emails and looking after inboxes, audio typing, meeting and greeting patients and relatives on arrival to the hospital, answering telephone enquiries, PAS data entry and scanning documents. Main duties of the job Works as support to all sub-specialty secretarial teams providing general office duties supporting the clinical care of patient. Office support: Reception/telephone enquiries, collecting and opening post, filing, photocopying, messenger, faxing. Provides holiday/sickness cover for clerical posts (including ward clerks/outpatient clerks).
