The Digital Design Collaborative (DDC) is a group of NHS Acute Trusts in the East Midlands Region of England who have come together to strategically plan and collaborate on their collective digital transformation journey, with the ambition to strategically operate as one health care system.

The DDC member organisations have embarked on a digital excellence journey to implement a nationally leading Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will transform the quality of care for their patients and staff by having instantly accessible information using the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage and utilising clinical decision support tools.

Main duties of the job
The Assistant Director of Service Delivery (EMAP DDC) will support the strategic and operational leadership of the EMAP DDC team, ensuring that high-quality services are consistently provided to meet and exceed client expectations. The role is integral to optimising processes, ensuring client satisfaction, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery within the EMAP DDC organisations.
As the Assistant Director, you will oversee daily operations, manage service delivery teams, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence. You will also play a pivotal role in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, driving key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting organisational growth and transformation efforts.

1. Educated to master's degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience working at a similar level in a specialist area.

1. Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior service delivery or operations management role within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
2. Proven track record of managing teams and implementing service delivery improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
3. Proven and significant leadership experience.
4. Significant management experience at senior level in a service delivery industry.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, aligning operations with strategic business goals.
