Maintenance Specialist - Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line. Leads the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. The work model for the role is: Onsite - Nottingham, working a two shift rota 06:00-14:00 & 10:00-18:00 Mon-Fri. This role is contributing to the UK Electrification Installation Products Division. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
2. Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities, in collaboration with the Engineering team.
3. Maintaining and reporting all recurring problems within the department and the wider facility.
4. Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.
5. Completing planned maintenance on schedule.
6. Maintaining maintenance software and documentation.
Qualifications for the role
* Mechanical background/relevant, mechanical qualification.
* Awareness of HSE protocols.
* Basic IT skills.
* Experience working within an engineering manufacturing site.
* Organisation, communication, and teamwork skills.
