The school have seen an increasing need for support staff in the form of Learning support assistants, teaching assistants and behaviour LSA’s. We can offer flexible working on an adhoc basis, in addition to part time or full-time roles for the right educator. If you feel you have strong behaviour management skills, please apply for this role or send your CV Key responsibilities: - Provide extra support to individual pupils within a class setting. - Deliver tailored learning activities set by the teacher. - Build a positive rapport with students to help them enjoy their learning. - Display empathy, understanding and support. - Have a positive approach that empowers students and helps with their wider development. - Be confident dealing with challenging behaviour but in a patient manner. Typically, the role of an LSA will involve 1:1 work with different pupils but may also involve leading a small group. The successful Support assistant will help establish positive and healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing and developing social skills.
