Job Duties and Responsibilities Business Systems Analysis & Support Administer and support business systems such as ERP (Epicor) and Field Service Management (Solarvista LIVE). Engage with end users to understand their processes and requirements, translating them into effective system improvements. Design, implement, and enhance business systems to improve operational efficiency and customer interaction. Custom Development & Integration Develop and maintain custom software solutions using languages such as C#, Python, and JavaScript. Create and manage Azure Logic Apps and other integrations to automate processes across systems. Support the development and maintenance of the company's website, preferably utilising Umbraco/ASP.NET. Project Management & Collaboration Lead or support IT and business system projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time. Communicate new technology opportunities and help generate enthusiasm for new processes. Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for IT systems and business processes. IT Infrastructure Management Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, cloud services (Azure/Office 365), and data security protocols. Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place, using tools like Veeam. Provide first-line support to around 100 users, troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. Person Specification Experience with ERP systems : Familiarity with Inventory Management, Order Management, Accounting, and Manufacturing processes. Software development : Proficient in C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and experience with RESTful APIs. Project management : Proven track record of managing IT projects from start to finish, delivering on time and within scope. Web development skills : Experience with web development, ideally using Umbraco/ASP.NET. IT Infrastructure knowledge : Strong understanding of servers, cloud services, networking, and data security. Communication skills : Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and build positive relationships with stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset : Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for identifying opportunities for system improvements.
