We are looking for a proactive sales administrator/internal sales exec responsible for growing our B2B sales, alongside the senior management team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years sales experience, will be proficient with using an order management system, MS Office suite inc. excel and will be looking to advance their career in sales. Roles include B2B sales proposals for new and existing customers, processing orders, analysing stock levels, producing sales reports, maintaining a sales database (mail chimp), invoicing, and dealing with customer queries. The successful candidate will learn and understand the full product range, their unique selling points and associated costs. Candidates should be able to identify current customers and activities which will grow account values, identify new business opportunities and attend B2B trade shows throughout the year. (along with the senior management team). Ideal candidates will be proficient in using an order management system, and ideally some/all of the various sales platforms such as woo commerce (web), Amazon Seller, Faire wholesale, and EDI. Key Responsibilities : Generate and analyse sales reports, provide insights into performance v targets, and propose areas for improvement/development Research new business leads, and build initial contacts with potential clients to deliver growth. Create business proposals / communication packs with samples to grow our B2B customer base Receive customer orders (via the web, email, phone, B2B sales platforms) create and process orders using Sage 50. Maintain accurate customer records on Sage 50, mail chimp and woo commerce (web). Provide after sales support and deal with any customer queries Liaise with our field Sales Agents ensuring they are informed re the latest collections, including USPs, pricing and samples. Communicate with internal stakeholders buying team, despatch team, warehouse to ensure customer orders are processed/despatched on time. Create/send invoices on Sage 50 Attend approx. 3 B2B trade shows per year assist with stand set up, display and breakdown Assist in The Optical Shop (mon to Friday) with costing, pricing, B2C sales and customer service/queries. Essential skills/behaviours Required : Proactive, flexible customer focused approach Numerate and commercial ability to analyse results, identify trends and provide recommendations High level of literacy and ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form Confident, friendly and helpful manner Ability to work accurately, pay close attention to detail and act promptly Strong administerial/organisational skills. Ability to plan, co-coordinate and prioritise workloads. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective interaction with external and internal customers Proficient OMS/CRM software utilisation. Use of Sage 50 would be an advantage but not essential as fully training will be given. Fully proficient in MS office suite including Excel.
