As an Internal Sales Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting and guiding a team of Area Sales Managers to deliver top-tier sales results. You’ll be at the forefront of exciting product launches, impactful promotional campaigns, and strategic partnerships with Independent and National Multiple Merchants.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead and Support the Sales Team: Work closely with Area Sales Managers to roll out promotional activities and product launches, ensuring the team meets their sales targets.
* Drive Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Own the forecasting process and provide key reports to track GP and sales performance (using Numerik software).
* Enhance Sales Tools and Processes: Set up and optimize Sales Automation & CRM systems (NetSuite and Numerik) to ensure the team has everything they need to succeed.
* Collaborate with Product Marketing: Partner with the Product Marketing team to validate, plan, and launch exciting new products into the market.
* Merchandising Plans: Prepare and execute effective merchandising strategies, working closely with Area Sales Managers to drive growth.
* Lead a High-Performance Team: Oversee and support the internal team to ensure smooth operations, fostering a culture of excellence.
Key KPIs You’ll Own:
* Exceed Sales Targets: Meet or surpass company sales and GP budget goals.
* Optimized Sales Pipeline: Manage CRM, forecasting, and opportunities to drive a robust sales pipeline and conversion rate.
* Team Success: Ensure Area Sales Managers exceed their sales goals and contribute to monthly sales meetings and campaigns.

* Proven experience in a sales management role, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Strong proficiency with sales tools and CRM systems (NetSuite, Numerik).
