A leading fine dining restaurant group in Manchester is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee its people strategy, ensuring compliance, training excellence, and a structured approach to recruitment and retention. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality-focused HR professional to make a real impact in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure legal compliance, maintain accurate personnel records, and stay up to date with employment legislation.
2. Oversee recruitment, ensuring vacancies are advertised in line with brand guidelines and exploring new talent pipelines.
3. Develop and implement structured onboarding and retention strategies to improve employee retention beyond three months.
4. Work closely with the H&S Manager to ensure training policies, procedures, and audits are compliant and up to date.
5. Support managers in handling performance issues, disciplinaries, and investigations in line with statutory guidance.
6. Coordinate external training providers and research industry best practices to enhance development programs.
7. Conduct HR and training audits, report key findings to senior leadership, and provide regular headcount updates.
