The Health and Wellbeing Hub, funded through the Chesterfield Royal Hospital Charity, provides a holistic space for colleagues to access the array of health and wellbeing services that the Trust and Joined Up Care Derbyshire has to offer for our colleagues.
We are looking for casual Health Improvement Advisors (Band 4) to support the planning and delivery of the services and activities that are delivered out of the Hub. You will work alongside other colleagues who support the Trust's Health and Wellbeing services.
These roles will embed a high impact, inclusive, and engaging health and wellbeing programme which supports our people and the delivery of high-quality patient care. We want you to be passionate about our people, our patients and their families, and the public service we provide.
We encourage people with a wide range of experience, whether in the public or corporate sector, to apply who can bring their experience, qualifications, and knowledge with a can-do attitude to join the team.
We are firmly rooted in the founding principles of the NHS and have built on this by “Leading the Chesterfield Way” and with our Proud to CARE values: Compassion, Ambition, Respect, and Encouragement.
Working hours will be available to support service delivery needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the day-to-day operations of the Health and Wellbeing Hub and the programming of H&W services, maximizing facility usage.
2. Provide day-to-day support of membership systems, inductions, client programmes, and opportunity engagement protocols.
3. Manage and maintain health and fitness equipment.
4. Work with the Workforce Health and Wellbeing Lead and Senior HIA to develop and implement health and wellbeing programmes, including inclusive physical activity opportunities and wider determinants of health.
5. Support Trust Wellbeing Champions.
6. Implement the Trust’s and Integrated Care Systems (ICS) Wellbeing ambitions, including leading the delivery of physical activity services against set KPIs and ensuring responsiveness to the needs of colleagues.
7. Design and deliver a range of physical activity and wellbeing interventions that meet the needs of our Health and Social Care Colleagues.
As these are facility-based roles, the successful applicants will be required to work shift patterns on a casual basis, with potential for this to expand once the services become embedded. You will be required to work from the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a well-performing Foundation Trust serving a population of around 441,000 across the Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, North Amber Valley, High Peak, and North East Derbyshire districts. Supporting over 5,700 colleagues across the Trust and DSFS, these facilities will house our peer support services, a fitness suite, studio space, and multi-functional room space. The roles we are looking to recruit will provide the activities and services to support colleagues' health and wellbeing.
