Here at TSA Surveying, we are representing a global client who is actively looking to expand their building surveying team across Birmingham. The client has a flexible working scheme that aims to empower their employees by allowing new concepts to be heard, positively aiding the company's current systems and delivery of work. They are looking to build on their team of three individuals: a graduate, a senior building surveyor, and the current associate director.
The successful candidate will head up the current team and report directly to the divisional director who heads up the building surveying team.
The client is looking for an experienced building surveyor with a preferred background in education, based out of the West Midlands, to successfully lead the current team in the delivery of a combination of project and survey-related work across multiple sectors. A main responsibility will be to join the current team and aid the immediate delivery of work, using your knowledge and skills to help develop the current team. Additionally, you will be expected to build positive relationships with new clients to bring in new work for the company.
The company has previously successfully delivered projects ranging from £3m to £5m. Furthermore, the client we are representing emphasizes that they are looking for a willing individual who is looking to embrace new challenges and possesses strong leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in project management, with a background in the education sector. A full membership of RICS is required, and strong leadership skills are highly valued by our client.
