Do you aspire to work for an ‘Outstanding’ Local Authority?
Here in Telford and Wrekin, children, young people, and families are at the heart of what we do. We value:
* Understanding the layers of a person and seeing the person as a 'whole'
* Practicing care and kindness
* Listening to children, young people, and families to understand their views, hopes, and worries
* Effective communication skills
Our family ethos emphasizes that children and young people are best cared for by their birth families and extended networks, supporting our ‘family first’ approach. When this isn’t possible, we prioritize maintaining relationships aligned with the child's best interests, involving birth parents and extended networks in decision-making, and providing nurturing, inclusive alternative care.
