GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting a Design & Technology Teacher to work in an innovative and forward-thinking school in Gravesham. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate educator who can engage and challenge students through creative and practical lessons in Design & Technology.

Job Summary:
As a DT (Design & Technology) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across a range of design disciplines, including product design, graphics, and resistant materials, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in both their academic and creative pursuits.
Responsibilities of a DT Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality DT lessons.
* Create lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's curriculum and teaching practices.
* Ensure all health and safety standards are met in the workshop and during practical lessons.
Qualifications and Skills for a DT Teacher:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject.
* Proven experience teaching DT in a UK school setting.
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for Design & Technology and a commitment to inspiring students.
