What skills and experience we're looking for
Astor Secondary School are looking for an outstanding administrator to join their team for 21.5 hours a week, term time only.
Your main duties will be greeting visitors, dealing with calls from parents and other agencies, inputting and maintaining data on our Management Information System, Bromcom, dealing with In Year Admissions Applications and New Year 7 data as well as supporting all other functions of the main office and at times, supporting the Office Manager/PA to Headteacher with their duties as needed.
To support your main duties, you must be able to effectively use, and have experience of the key Microsoft Office functions - Outlook, Word, Excel and forms - as well as a high standard of computer proficiency and accuracy. Experience of working in a school setting is not essential for the right candidate; experience of working in a busy, fast paced office environment however, is.

Whilst the role is currently part time, for the right candidate, there is both an opportunity to increase hours within 3-5 years as well as career progression opportunities.
