CRANMORE INFANT SCHOOL Northland Road, Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 4SA PART TIME (0.4) INCLUSION LEADER REQUIRED Required from January 2025 At Cranmore Infant School, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment, from our Baby Room, through to Year 2. We are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their individual needs, has the opportunity to thrive and grow in a nurturing setting. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Inclusion Leader to join our team, working closely with children, parents, staff and external agencies to ensure that all children, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), receive the support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities; • Develop and Implement Inclusion Strategies; Work as part of SLT to design and lead the school’s inclusion initiatives, ensuring that practices and interventions are tailored to the needs of our children. • Support and Guidance; Provide expert advice and practical support to staff on inclusive teaching strategies and interventions for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). • Individualised Support; Work directly with children to assess their needs and coordinate appropriate support plans. Monitor and review these plans to ensure they are effective and make adjustments as needed. • Parent Engagement; Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers. Keep them well informed about their child’s progress and involve them in developing and reviewing support plans. • Training and Development; Organise and deliver training sessions for staff on inclusive practices and SEND, ensuring that they are equipped to support all children effectively. • Collaboration; Collaborate with external professionals, such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists, to provide additional support and resources for children. • Monitoring and Evaluation; Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion strategies, using data and monitoring to inform continuous improvement and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
