About this role:
As a business partner dedicated to our Customer Services function, you will have a key role in the Finance Business Partnering team. You will liaise with central and market stakeholders on the Customer Services activities of our company across several markets with regards to commercial decision-making, planning, reporting and more. This is the perfect role for an experienced finance professional, who can handle multiple tasks and present complex issues simply and succinctly.
The role will have broad responsibility for bringing analytical rigour to the process of evaluating operational and financial performance. The role navigates challenges from shaping long-term strategy to driving short-term performance and being actively involved in financial projects.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
* Partner with the Global Customer Services team, providing advice and challenge to stakeholders to deliver optimal business results
* Perform detailed financial modelling, analysis and post-implementation review for a variety of activities across the compensation, staff cost and operating expenses spend categories
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with the Customer Services team and market finance teams to ensure collaboration and consensus
* Actively engage in the month-end process, leading thorough and timely reviews and analysis
* Maintain and update monthly KPI reporting, including commentary on material movements to target
* Work on ad-hoc analysis and projects
What will you bring to the table?
* Experience of commercial finance business partnering with increasing levels of responsibility and senior stakeholder management
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or financial analyst (CFA)
* Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on internal and external stakeholders
* Advanced Excel, financial modelling and reporting skills
* Outstanding presentation, communication and visualisation skills
