12 month Fixed Term Contract We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, based at our Engineering Design Hub in Milton Keynes. This role will provide project management of key customer programmes within RF/microwave electronics-based subsystems. Main responsibilities: Project leadership including planning and defining scope, directing, coordinating, and reporting on complex, high visibility projects Overall accountability for tracking, reporting and forecasting adherence to project baseline for schedule and budget internally and customer facing Managing new product development / re-design in accordance with SCL product design process Chair and present gate reviews from initial kick off to production hand over, including any necessary qualification activities Act as the customer interface and support regular meetings and provide reports Assist in the management of changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorised project changes Adherence to internal PM processes, follow Earned Value reporting as part of monthly reporting process Preparation and submission of appropriate customer documentation (Project Management Plan, schedule etc) as part of deliverable data pack Support bids and proposals as required, including bid management and definition of budget Risk register population / scoring including defining appropriate mitigation strategies.
