We are seeking an IT Consultant with a strong background in information technology to help streamline our operations. As part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our internal IT infrastructure, optimizing data management processes, and providing IT solutions to enhance business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Internal IT Support: Provide day-to-day IT support for company employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring seamless connectivity within the company network.
2. Spreadsheet Management: Work extensively with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) to track, analyze, and maintain data for various logistics operations, including delivery schedules, inventory management, and cost tracking.
3. Sales Report Generation: Compile and generate sales reports on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy in data collection from various platforms and providing insights to management for business decisions.
4. Data Management: Maintain and update company databases, ensuring data integrity and security, while creating automated processes for data collection and reporting where applicable.
5. IT Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
6. System Administration: Administer software solutions and systems used across the organization, including updating software, managing user access, and ensuring system security.
7. Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency in logistics operations.
8. Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement within IT and logistics workflows, implementing automation tools, and optimizing the use of existing systems.
9. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors for IT-related services, including hardware purchases, software licensing, and network support.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in IT support, with a strong focus on internal user support and system administration.
3. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets), including data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas.
4. Experience in generating and analyzing sales reports.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software.
6. Basic knowledge of networking principles and security protocols.
7. Familiarity with logistics, inventory, or supply chain management systems is a plus.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
