Do you thrive on data analysis and a commitment to client service? Do you have proven experience working with large volumes of data to produce accurate reporting? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Client Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team at Burges Salmon.
Our FP&A team within our Finance Department provide business partnering services, data insights, and analysis to support key decision-making across the firm. The team handle diverse client reporting needs, ensuring compliance with contractual arrangements. In this role, you'll deliver accurate financial information promptly, working with Finance Analysts, and streamline client reporting processes. We are looking for a keen and proactive collaborator, confident working with and explaining technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
* Timely client reporting, delivering complex client reports accurately.
* Document and improve reporting processes.
* Implement Management Information for clients.
* Understand reporting requirements and assist clients with customised reporting, offering pragmatic and supportive solutions.
* Collaborate on data accuracy improvements.
* Work on enhancements to reporting with our internal teams (such as IT Developers).
* Proactive involvement for Client Management Information projects.
What we're looking for:
* Meticulous attention to detail to minimise the risk of errors that are common.
* Proficient in Excel using Pivot Tables.
* Competence in using advanced Excel functions like INDEX(MATCH), VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS for data analysis and problem solving.
* Skilled in data visualisation to present data through compelling charts and graphs for clear communication of analysis results, including for example, the use of Power BI.
* Proven capability to work to and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Build trust with clients and stakeholders.
