Brushwood House is a vibrant 60 bed Nursing home providing accommodation, care and support for residents with general Nursing and EMI Nursing assessed needs this job is fixed term until 12th May 2025 until a decision is made regarding the longer term model of provision.

The Role:
As a kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for Supporting the Chef in delivering high quality nutritious food and meals for the residents of Brushwood House.
As the Kitchen Assistant you will deputise in the absence of the Assistant Cook, taking full responsibilities and duties of the Assistant Cook and work as part of a team
The Kitchen Assistant will assist in the preparation of food, consideration should be given to Service Users’ Health, Religious and Cultural needs
You, as the Kitchen Assistant will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to the Health and Safety Procedure, follow all existing systems in place. Comply with all Food Safety legislation
