SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support Gedling (NG4), Nottingham £400-£600 per week (dependent on experience) About the Role Connex Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, 1:1 support role working with a Year 3 student in a primary school in the Gedling area. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide specialized support to help the student access the curriculum and develop their learning and social skills throughout the school day. Assignment Details This is a full-time position working during school hours, Monday to Friday. The role is expected to continue throughout the academic year. Person Specification We are seeking candidates with previous SEND experience. The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated experience working with SEND Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant Experience in care work is beneficial A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents Passion for making a positive impact on children's lives Ability to build strong, supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries While specific qualifications are not required as we provide full training through Connex academy, candidates should show a commitment to professional development in SEND support.
