We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £43,160 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Providing leadership and effective management of team so that all objectives and targets are achieved
* Ensure effective communications are developed with and between departments and business streams in order to meet objectives within prescribed timescale
* Coordinating and prioritising activity across the shifts and business streams to ensure customer service requirements are met
* Maintaining accurate records and planning to ensure targets are achieved within the financial costings
* Adhering to Health and Safety, Fire and Security requirements to provide a safe working environment
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* A track record at a supervisory or management level within a complex, fast-paced transport operation
* Excellent knowledge of driving compliance and associated regulations, a Manager’s CPC would be ideal!
* Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills with previous managerial experience
* A strong personality with the ability to effectively manage drivers, push for operational excellence and challenge the status quo
