Our client who has built a reputation manufacturing and testing market leading products is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their commercial sales department.
Responsibilities
As a Sales Administrator, you will be required to carry out the following:
Receive and respond to all customer and potential customer contacts
Produce quotations in line with Company guidelines
Process and track orders
Expedite current orders
Progress and chase outstanding payments
Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure all outstanding orders are running to schedule and communicate any potential delays to management/clients
Generate works orders and arrange shipment of freight, scheduling of freight forwarders and collate appropriate documentation
Co-ordinate returns on quality issues
Generate reports and input data into spreadsheets
Analysis of existing customer base, develop new contacts and identify new opportunities
About You
Candidates will be required to have the following:
Previous experience in sale administration or similar role
Able to build effective relationships quickly
Able to work as part of a team
Influencing and persuasion skills
Competent with using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Meticulous attention to detail
Confident decision maker
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent an accurate task management skills - Desirable
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment utilising supply chain systems
Experience of generating import/export documentation
