Business Support Administrator

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
This is a fantastic job opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company in Telford. They are looking for a Business Support Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for someone that possesses a friendly, polite and upbeat manner on the telephone and who understands the importance of delivering an excellent level of service to both internal and external customers. This is a fast-paced working environment so the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure is essential. For this role, you will have at least 3 years in a similar administrative, reception, or customer service role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Act as the first point of contact when required. This includes answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls to the correct individual/department.
* Management of the company sales email address inbox to ensure all emails are forwarded to the correct contact in a timely manner.
* Providing first-class customer service by responding quickly to all enquiries and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly.
* Assisting with a wide variety of administration tasks, including triage and customer care.
* Working with the Customer Experience Team to identify and implement process improvements.
* Administration cover for holidays and sickness.
* Supporting the business with accommodation/vehicle bookings when required.
* Supporting with external visits, catering requirements, and transport etc.
* Support with sourcing items if required.
Skills and Experience
* A good level of education (to GCSE standard in Maths and English – ideally grade C or above).
* You will need to be experienced with Microsoft Office Programs including Word and Excel.
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to communicate with people across all levels of the business.
* Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
* Accuracy and a keen attention to detail.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work at a fast pace and to meet deadlines.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* The ability to work under pressure.
