Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with an hour lunch Salary guide: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience Hybrid working considered 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Access to an EAP Health Shield membership Life Assurance Discretionary bonus Pension Accounts Assistant Responsibilities: Produce month-end reports Update the cashflow forecast Maintain the customer and supplier ledger Process expenses Undertake profit and loss analysis, variance analysis and report analysis Support customers and suppliers with incoming queries regarding finance Liaise with the accountant on accruals and pre-payments Allocate supplier payments and handle credit control duties Support the Senior Management Accountant with ad-hoc tasks and assist the wider accounts team to ensure smooth operations Accounts Assistant Skills and Experience: Previous experience gained as an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Administrator is preferred Possesses good knowledge of all aspects of sales ledger, purchase ledger and reconciliations Capable of using accounting software and knowledge of Cargo Wise would be advantageous Enjoys a fast-paced environment and enjoys working within a high-volume accounts office Strong communicator who is confident liaising with clients and suppliers and handling queries Excellent eye for detail and demonstrates superb organisation skills
