* 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - Fixed term until 27/06/2025
* Salary: £25,119 per annum - £27,334 per annum (Actual Salary £20,615 per annum - £22,433 per annum)
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Personal Progress Tutor, providing essential support and guidance to learners across various college departments. This role plays a vital part in nurturing student success and facilitating their development both during and after their educational journey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tutoring principles and a passion for motivating and empowering learners. Previous experience in Further Education (FE) and a pastoral role would be advantageous, along with a minimum of Education Level 4 qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide effective learner support, guidance, and tutoring across different college departments.
* Assist learners in setting and achieving personal and academic goals.
* Facilitate group sessions and workshops to enhance student learning and development.
* Communicate confidently and effectively with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in supporting learners through challenges.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
* Stay abreast of best practices in tutoring and student support services.
