The Role
This role presents a unique opportunity for an Account Director to take the lead in one of the most integrated client-agency relationships in the UK, driving strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional results for the client’s business.
The role sits within a team dedicated to supporting our automotive clients in driving subscription revenue through a blend of creative, CRM, strategy, data, and insights.
The Account Director will be responsible for leading the strategic vision, managing client relationships, and overseeing the execution of deliverables against our CRM scope of work. They will act as trusted advisors to senior stakeholders, championing excellence and ensuring the agency consistently exceeds client expectations.

* Managing the delivery of market-leading key campaigns, working collaboratively with creative teams to ensure that all assets are delivered on time and to the highest standard across owned channels.
Key Tasks
* Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, fostering strong, collaborative relationships and positioning the agency as a trusted strategic partner.
* Provide strategic leadership across all CRM workstreams, ensuring alignment with the client’s broader business objectives and delivering measurable impact.
* Oversee the delivery of campaigns, collaborating with creative and data teams to ensure all assets are produced to the highest standard and delivered on time across multiple owned channels.
* Lead the development and execution of CRM activity (email and in-app messaging) across European markets.
* Coordinate with local agency partners to ensure the effective localization and deployment of central assets across European markets.
* Manage the overall performance and quality of work delivered by the team, driving continuous improvement and innovation in response to client needs.
* Closely collaborate with other related WPP agency teams (e.g. VML MAP).
Requirements
* Proven experience in leading multi-channel campaigns, with a strong focus on CRM and digital marketing.
* Demonstrated success managing campaigns across multiple European markets, with an ability to navigate localization challenges effectively.
* Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on data and insights.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of confidently engaging with senior stakeholders and motivating internal teams.
* Excellent team-building skills.
* Experience with Salesforce platforms an advantage.
