About the role
Are you dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced in being accountable for a team and have experience of managing an operation that is part of a Pallet Network? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
As we continue an exciting period of growth and success, we are looking for our next Pallet Network champion to join our trailblazing team and ensure our customers receive the highest standard of service.
A snapshot of your typical day-to-day responsibilities. You’ll be…
* Coordinating and managing the operations of the pallet network part of the business to ensure efficient freight movement.
* Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the hubs and depots within the network.
* Monitoring performance metrics to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
* Ensuring cover is provided in all segments of the department including driver, vehicle, and the office team.
* Resolving customer/depot/driver queries/delivery issues.
* Overseeing the operation to ensure that all drivers comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
* Using various platforms and software to record and recall information.
* Quickly and efficiently solving problems as they arise.
* Producing and monitoring KPI's to manage the team and operation.

* An excellent communicator, with great telephone skills and the ability to sympathise with customers.
* Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office.
* Diligent and have a high attention to detail.
* A quick learner who can make changes as and when required.
