Support Worker
Location: ST19
Salary & Benefits: £11.44-£14.75 P/H
Hours: Various, days and nights, Full/part-time (Monday-Sunday)
There are 2 positions available, day support and night support.
We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to provide support to a young lady who has disabilities and complex needs such as cerebral palsy, autism and behaviours that are challenging.
The ideal candidate must hold NVQ level 3 care qualification and must have a fully valid driving license.
Individuals must have at least 3 years’ experience in care, preferably in a supervisory role and be patient, compassionate and able to diffuse stressful situations.
The young lady has a great passion for music, and swimming and is looking for a suitable candidate preferably with the same interests,
The ideal candidate must be able to assist the young lady in the home and community with the opportunity to assist in her learning environment 1-3 days a week, providing daycare activities such as arts & crafts, as well as personal care.
Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends.
An Enhanced Disclosure Criminal Records Bureau check is preferred, not essential.
