About Pontefract Academies Trust

About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Student Liaison Officer at The King’s School. This candidate will provide leadership and operational management to an assigned pastoral group to raise attendance, standards and enforce excellent behaviour to contribute towards students' academic attainment. They will contribute towards the strategic leadership of the pastoral system across the school and lead and be responsible for the implementation, operational logistics and reporting on elements of the pastoral system.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
* Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
* Will make a difference in changing children’s life chances.
* Has the skills and abilities to support children of all abilities and personal needs.
* Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
* Has the ability to form effective relationships with students and parents/carers.
This is a 37 hours per week, permanent, term time plus two days contract, equating to 192 working days per annum.
