Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our Nursing Home. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three to four years of nursing experience, particularly within a nursing home setting. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and care of our residents while working closely with the Deputy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
* Administer medication and effectively manage medication rounds.
* Work independently during day shifts, demonstrating strong clinical judgement and initiative.
* Collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure optimal resident care and support.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Promote a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
* Minimum of three to four years of experience as an RGN, preferably in a nursing home setting.
* Strong knowledge of medication management and nursing practices.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
