TMS/UPS + SEN Allowance (experience dependent) / FTE 0.6 – 1.0 / Permanent
Southway Junior School is looking to recruit a knowledgeable and effective Special Needs Co-Ordinator (SENDCo) who will be non-class based to join our strong team from April 2025.
The SENDCo provides support and advice to teachers and support staff regarding children’s special educational needs and is the fundamental focal point for devising, monitoring, and tracking the effectiveness of pupil interventions. The SENDCo is a DDSL and responsible for providing support to CLA pupils. This role works closely with class teachers and teaching assistants to manage the delivery of high-quality provision for pupils with a range of needs, including EAL, dyslexia, and autism.
