It is the Council's objective to improve community safety and the environment. The key aspects of the Case Officers’ role will be to address incidents of anti-social behaviour across the District, to investigate and take action, in partnership with other services to help prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour. The Case Officer will investigate complaints, gather evidence, and deal with victims, witnesses and perpetrators, working towards stabilising communities. Candidates will have experience of dealing with cases of nuisance and harassment, knowledge of related legislation and experience of working with other agencies and community groups. You must also be able to work with computerised record systems. There will be a requirement for some evening and weekend working. The position will be dependent on a satisfactory enhanced DBS check completed and the successful candidates will also be vetted by the Police.
