Due to planned expansion of CiTECHs heat recovery / boiler business, we are recruiting a Mechanical (Project) Engineer to be located in our Hessle office. About CiTECH: Designer and supplier of specialist compact Waste Heat Recovery Units and innovative Boilers for the offshore Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries. With over 80 years of history, CiTECH are the early pioneers of energy efficient, flue gas Waste Heat Recovery in the UK; we developed and patented the worlds first compact, circular Waste Heat Recovery Unit. The role: Responsibility for coordination and day-to-day execution of all technical engineering activities for our capital equipment and engineering projects. Conduct and coordinate engineering work as planned, ensuring compliance to the agreed scope of work, applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and Company standards; to permit procurement, manufacture and testing according to schedule. Responsibilities include: Responsible for the engineering design arrangement and technical execution of assigned Project(s). Be the primary technical interface with the customer. Plan, schedule, conduct and co-ordinate assigned engineering work; allocate, assign and delegate engineering tasks to others (as necessary). To produce, co-ordinate and comment (as necessary), agreed Project documentation in accordance with agreed document list (SDRL). Maintain Company design intent, interpret client specifications, accepted engineering practices and standards to facilitate accurate translation into technical output. Ensure rigid control of any client requested deviations, or variations. Capture scope changes & contract variations and coordinate with the project team to formulate a Project Change offer. Create written specifications to permit procurement, manufacture and testing in accordance with project requirements. The preferred candidate: Educated to degree level (BEng) or equivalent in engineering discipline, or HNC/D may be accepted with relevant Project / Engineering experience. Relevant experience of design and manufacture of mechanical engineered product. Familiar with manufacturing and fabrication processes. Experience in working on multi discipline Engineering projects. Methodical organised, with excellent planning & time management skills.
