You don’t have to be fully qualified just need the various characteristics described and we will guide you on your way to be a successful coach. All checks will be done before you can start
This role is designed for someone who has had experience in coaching as an assistant but now wants to lead a team or someone who has lead a team and is looking to gain more experience working in a different side of the game whether it is transitioning from Adults to children or working with the Foundation age more.
PLEASE NOTE IN ORDER TO BE ELLIGIBLE FOR ANY OF OUR TEAMS YOU MUST HAVE A LEVEL 1 FOOTBALL QUALIFICATION OR WORKING TOWARDS ONE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE OFFERED A TEAM HEAD COACH ROLE. ALSO, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO A TRAIL SESSION AS PART OF YOUR INTERVIEW PROCESS.
KSI Coaching football coach role
•Adhere to all children safeguarding standards
•To administer first aid when needed
•Leading on sessions and ensuring sessions go well
•Making sure Registers are done
•Working with individuals separately for individuals to understand tasks
•Maintaining positive relationships with parents and children
•To be a positive role model to children who come to sessions
•Provide coaching sessions in accordance with KSI Coaching FC procedures
•To coach fun engaging sessions for the children
•To have an input to provide technical feedback to parents and kids to lead coach about their progress at sessions
•To work with manager on improvements to improve the sessions
•To be punctual at KSI Coaching sessions
•Speaking to manager about self-development
Essential requirements
•Punctuality
•Level 1 qualification
•Year experience in working in a football environment
•Ability to man manage different personalities and demands of children and parents
•Adaptable to sudden changes of sessions
•Excellent communication skills
•Adequate presentation skills
•Can do attitude
•Commitment to CPD
•Adaptability to different situations
Pay (£10-15 per hour)
We train on Saturdays (Various times) and in the week (6-7pm during winter time)
