You will be responsible for:
* The Deputy Manager is intrinsic to the success of the Home through effective delivery of providing support to the Home Manager in ensuring all resident and staffing needs are met.
* Supporting the Home Manager to embed a safe and welcoming environment for residents, their families, employees, and visitors.
* Demonstrating high professional standards and leadership to support the Home Manager in meeting staffing requirements in line with Trust, CQC, and Local Authority standards.
* Providing support to the Home Manager and employees towards achieving a ‘Good’ or above rating by CQC.
To be considered for this role of RGN Deputy Manager you will need the following experience:
* Nurse qualified, with a current NMC Pin - Essential
* Relevant and demonstrable work experience in a nursing/residential care setting.
* Good working knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant legislation, including the Health & Social Care Act 2008, Care Act - Protection of Vulnerable Adults, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Ideally, a minimum of 12 to 18 months experience of managing staff within a nursing/residential care setting.
Can demonstrate excellent leadership and effective communication skills.
* To be an active and encouraging Manager, establishing and maintaining effective means of communication and good relationships with residents, relatives, and employees in the home.
