As PR Manager you would be at the forefront of the communications programme, planning and delivering the PR strategies and working in collaboration with the policy and fundraising teams. The charity is looking for a committed, compassionate and driven PR Manager to work on a national media and stakeholder engagement programme. It is a chance to make a real difference to the lives of people in our community using your pr and comms skills The Role: Help shape and implement proactive and reactive PR and media strategy to increase awareness of the charity’s work to help more people struggling to get by and build collaborative partnerships Raise awareness and understanding of the charity’s work among service users, partners and influencers, as well as identifying, developing and risk assessing case studies Lead on the development and delivery of the charity’s storytelling, ensuring communications are led by the voice of people with lived experience of financial insecurity Build and manage stakeholder relationships with celebrities and other charities to raise awareness of the impact of financial insecurity. Skills: Awareness of the issues relating to poverty in the UK and knowledge of working with similar charities if possible Strong understanding and contacts with the media Experience of planning and developing PR and media campaigns Experience of managing large scale, national, public communication campaigns Strong writing skills for variety of audiences/stakeholders Comfortable with being able to publish on a range of platforms and CRM and CMS systems Project management with specific experience in managing awareness campaigns and ability to plan, prioritise and deliver multiple projects and a work programme to agreed deadlines A team player who is highly motivated with an ability to work on own initiative and work proactively in key areas of responsibility Understanding of the political landscape in UK including Westminster, the devolved parliaments and local authorities would be useful To apply for this role please send your cv to cvscarterferris.co.uk or call Anne or Tanya on 020 3397 7543 / 07929 008295 quoting CF0660
