About the Role
The CPD Learning Content Manager commissions content for RIBA CPD programmes, with a particular focus on international audiences and a new Career Attributes programme. The successful applicant will have a clear view of the business problems and the objectives for learning for architects.
By developing relevant, must-have content, the CPD Learning Content Manager creates compelling programmes that enhance skills and expertise, driving sales and value of digital CPD and in-person professional events.
What are we looking for?
* An understanding of digital instructional design and the learning principles of CPD.
* An awareness of the learning and development needs of architects and adjacent professions.
* Experience of digital learning across live and on-demand delivery, using a range of strategies to create imaginative, informative and engaging learning content.
* Demonstrable learning content development or event management experience.
* A strong grasp of the quality and value of content, which drives CPD and professional programmes’ sales.
* The skills and experience to work independently on projects.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to enthuse and influence others – speakers, colleagues and external partners.
* Demonstrable experience of planning and managing complex projects.
* An ability to work autonomously, meeting both individual and team deadlines and KPIs.
* An understanding of successful marketing and communication activities to generate event awareness and ultimately bookings gained through previous hands-on experience.
* Previous experience of member engagement within a membership body would be beneficial.
* Knowledge of digital learning delivered to an international audience outside the UK and experience of content programming of a career attributes framework or soft skills training would be an asset.
