The Role: anzuk education is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5, depending on experience). The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a love for literature, improve their writing skills, and become confident communicators. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English at Key Stage 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5) Develop and implement schemes of work that meet the needs of all students, ensuring progression and differentiation Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies to create a positive and focused learning environment Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and department resources Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities Support students’ personal development, providing guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their full potential The Ideal Candidate: A qualified teacher with a degree in English or a related subject- (QTS) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 (and ideally Key Stage 5) Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills A commitment to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for literature and language A positive, professional, and collaborative approach to teaching and working as part of a team Compliance: DBS on the update service or willing to apply through us EWC registered or willing to apply QTS qualification How to Apply: If you are passionate about English and eager to inspire the next generation of readers, writers, and critical thinkers, we would love to hear from you Please apply by sending your CV to Shannon- (email address removed) or call (phone number removed)
