Agricultural Store Manager – Helston
Monday – Friday (8.30am-5.00pm) plus Saturday (8.30am-5.00pm) on a rota basis

Our Wynnstay Helston Store has an opportunity for you to join their team as a motivated and experienced Agricultural Store Manager, to efficiently manage and maximise the service to our farm customers.
The Opportunity:
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking overall responsibility for the site including its staff, stock and performance
* Retaining, increasing and maximizing sales of products at the store through various selling activities
* Maintaining the existing customer base, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service and establishing new contacts to drive sales
* Providing leadership, support and development to the store team
* Ensuring the store is stocked adequately and is always presentable
* Completing regular stocktakes accurately and within the specified timeframe
* Implementing and participating in promotional campaigns
* Conducting staff reviews to assess training needs and build career development paths
* Comfortably dealing with issues which may arise with staff or customers
* Taking responsibility for Health & Safety on site
* Ensuring compliance with Wynnstay policies and procedures throughout store operations
* Communicating with key individuals and maintaining good working relationships within the business
The Person:
The successful candidate will:
* Possess commercial & practical awareness of the agricultural industry and the competitive landscape
* Be enthusiastic, hungry, and actively seeking new opportunities through various initiatives
* Have the ability to sell through enhanced customer relations and considerable product knowledge
* Be a strong and inspiring leader and team player
* Possess knowledge of the regulations surrounding portfolio of products sold
* Have awareness of Health and Safety in the Workplace
* Be qualified in the following areas, or prepared to undergo training:
o Amtra SQP Qualified
o Basis Storekeeper Qualified
