Job Summary Assemble and test mechanical systems and components according to technical specifications and drawings. Interpret PID's GA's to properly complete assembly tasks. Ensure all work meets quality standards in accordance with accordance with relevant specifications. Adhere to company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and fellow members of staff. Responsibilities - Take a lead role in Health & Safety regulations ensuring requirements are adhered to. - Work with manufacturing and production engineers to improve assembly processes. - Work with Manufacturing Engineer to improve productivity. - Carry out Assembly and Test of Engineered to Order product. - Support project plans in conjunction with planners and capacity; allocate resource accordingly. - Supporting other Mechanical Technicians with any queries relating to the building and testing of product. - Witness testing and sign off of all assembled product. - Support Engineering in the reviewing of complex systems prior to release. Basic Qualifications - Experience working in an Assembly / Production environment. - Experience working with Hydrogen (Assembly and Test) is desirable. - Compex Certified is desirable. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Fully site based Key Competencies - Diligent in the use of small bore pipework. - Able to follow precisely P&ID and GA Drawings as well as identify potential issues in the design and test. - Team player with the ability to offer support and advice to colleagues. - Computer Literate. - Time management with the ability to work using their own initiative.
