Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £140 Per day Job Duties: Deliver prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the regular teacher Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Assess student progress and provide feedback Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Collaborate with other teachers and staff members Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Previous experience working as a teacher or in a similar role Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies Strong classroom management skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working as a supply teacher Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) Working Conditions: Work in various schools on a temporary basis Potential for early morning calls for assignments Interact with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis Possibility of working in different year groups and subjects All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
