We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Assistant to join the team and provide specialised support to the students with complex needs. As a Student Support Assistant for complex needs, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and personal development of students with a range of complex needs. You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to provide individualised support and ensure each student’s well-being and progress. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support to students with complex needs, assisting with academic tasks, personal care, and social activities.
* Implement individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
* Assist in creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students' confidence and independence.
* Use specialised strategies and resources to support students' learning and development.
* Monitor and record students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENCO.
* Facilitate small group or one-on-one interventions as needed.
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging trust and open communication.
