We are seeking a highly motivated LSA to join our dedicated SEND team within a thriving secondary school in Hounslow. This is a fantastic chance to play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting. About the Role: Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENDCO to develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with SEND. Providing targeted support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, catering to their specific needs and learning styles. Assisting with the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons, ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive. Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters confidence and independence in students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with the SEND Code of Practice. Developing strong relationships with students, parents/carers and teachers, fostering a collaborative approach to supporting SEND needs. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified LSA or possess relevant experience working with students with SEND. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. A strong sense of empathy, patience and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs. A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
