Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years. Role : To ensure the timely and accurate processing of any customer/contractor support deals formally agreed by the Commercial Department within the customer’s negotiated terms of business. To verify and audit all claimbacks in an accurate and timely manner to resolve any generated queries to all parties’ satisfaction. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm; Friday 8:30am-3:00pm. Key Responsibilities: To accurately set up all agreed supported deals; Actively review changes to terms and rebates to enable prompt recalculation of deals; The accurate calculation and verification of all customer claimbacks due; To calculate and periodically review all financial accruals connected to each individual deal to assist with analysis and forecasts; Liaise directly with the External Sales team and customers in the event of queries on sums paid or the figures generated and to resolve accordingly to each parties’ satisfaction; To assist in the setting up of deals and review prior to expiry; Maintenance of deal spreadsheets, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and consistent; Confirming terms to customers applicable to their account; Liasing with the Commercial team to review margins; Seek improvements to processes to adapt to business needs and drive efficiency; Provide support to both the Commercial Analyst and External Sales team when negotiating terms with customers; Any other ad-hoc duties when necessary Skills and Requirements: Excellent attention to detail; Good time management; Great communication skills to all levels; Excel skills – intermediate level; Reasonable level of commercial and/or industry experience Here at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
