952CW Radiography Coordinator Hinkley Point C, Somerset Long Term Contract, Full-time £340 PAYE to £470 Umbrella per day Job Title: Radiography Coordinator Job Purpose/Overview: The Radiography Coordinator ensures the efficient operation of radiography activities across the HPC site, overseeing the Radiography Support Team and third-party resources. They validate contractor NDT techniques, coordinate radiography operations between Tier 1 Contractors, and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines and Company Standards. The role involves comprehensive planning, risk management, and optimization of radiography strategy to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes. Principal Accountabilities: Coordinate radiography activities between service providers and installation contractors Verify planning adequacy and de-clash operations considering areas, shift patterns, and personnel safety Manage radiographic film storage and develop digitization strategies Champion non-radiological testing technologies as ALARP alternatives Evaluate and approve new radiography techniques with Subject Matter Experts Monitor on-site safety of radiography activities Implement KPIs to track performance, trends, and risks Run coordination meetings and interface with construction teams Provide proactive risk management and issue resolution Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience: PCN or equivalent ISO 9712/ASME level 2 radiographer qualification Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) training and appointment Experience on large construction projects with significant radiography components Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques/standards Nuclear sector experience and understanding of IRR2017 Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong analytical abilities and technical problem-solving Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and resilience Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management Key Competencies: Inspiration: Understands EDF Energys vision adapts to changing circumstances Integrity: Treats people fairly ensures clear stakeholder communication Inclusion: Listens actively shares expertise values collaboration Impact: Delivers to standards maintains quality applies industry best practices The role requires regular out-of-hours attendance to participate in the site permit system and observe work activities as part of a small specialized team.
