Anderson Knight is recruiting a Safety and Compliance Administrator to join our reputable client based in South Lanarkshire.
This role is integral to maintaining and improving compliance standards across the organisation while ensuring a proactive approach to safety and quality management.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30 – 16:45; Friday, 08:30 – 14:00
Salary: £28,000–£33,000 DOE
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administering the Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety management systems, ensuring compliance and ongoing improvement.
2. Assisting with the coordination of non-conformance processes, liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure swift resolution.
3. Maintaining detailed records of audits, non-conformances, and corrective actions, and generating reports with insights for trend analysis and continuous improvement.
4. Organising and supporting management meetings related to compliance and accreditation systems.
5. Managing audit schedules to uphold the Plant’s safety and compliance certifications.
6. Administering internal corrective actions and responses to customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring effective tracking and follow-up.
7. Conducting daily compliance and safety process checks.
8. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to support maintenance planning and safety initiatives.
9. Leading or supporting HACCP-related activities to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
10. Attending customer sites as required to support compliance efforts.
Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
1. Experience or working knowledge of ISO standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., BRCGS) is highly desirable.
2. Familiarity with quality and safety inspections, with preferred qualifications such as Internal Auditor certification or Level 3 HACCP training.
3. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
5. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
6. Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
7. Team-oriented with a flexible approach to work.
