ABOUT US:
Located in Londons Mayfair andoverlooking Green Park, The Royal Air Force Club is a private members club that opened its doors in 1922. The Club offers first-class facilitiesand a home from home' to its 24,000 members, predominantly serving and former officers of the RAF and Allied Air Forces and their families. With 110 bedrooms and 10 meeting and banqueting rooms, the Club is a truly hidden gem with modern and elegant interiors and facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Night Cleaner, you will be flexible, hardworking and have a good eye for detail. You will assist the Head Housekeeper by undertaking general cleaning duties and ensuring the highest possible standard of housekeeping is achieved and maintained in the Club.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The activities listed below are indicative of the types of activities normally performed by the Night Cleaner:
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all Public Areas, Back of House, corridors, services and storage rooms. You will provide all necessary equipment and items, which are requested by the Housekeeping Supervisors or Members.
Assists in all types of cleaning, when necessary and as requested (examples: polishing marble, shampooing carpets, maintaining hard floor)
Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies
Report to Housekeeping office at rostered time, collect work sheet, sign in for the day, and pick up radio
Perform daily cleaning of assigned areas of the club, including vacuuming and dusting in high places and polishing brass. Ensure public areas, associated rooms and corridors are cleaned thoroughly to the standard required
Cleaning and maintain hard floors across the club
Spot cleaning carpets as required
Attend team meetings as required
Perform extra jobs as directed
Support the night team in case of evacuation of the building (full training provided)
Follow all health, safety and security procedures
Attend training as required
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, injuries, suspicious behaviour or occurrences to a manager or supervisor
Maintain standards of appearance as per Club standards
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Attend to lost property according to Lost property procedure
Operate in a Team environment
Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
Implement changes in cleaning practices as advised
Communicate with members, guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
Essential Key Skills:
Be able to take and follow instruction
Able to work alone and unsupervised
Move, lift, carry objects weighing less than or equal to 20 kg without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending
Good command of English
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by managers and supervisors
