Energetic Technician
GBP29.23ph umbrella (Inside IR35) 12 month contract.
An Energetics Technician is required to support a broad range of activities within the BAE Systems Land UK business. The selected candidate will support new technology development projects for future energetic materials and support product and process development in small, medium and high volume environments. Working as part of the Engineering and Technology teams, the role will ensure that our products meet exacting quality and performance requirements.
This predominantly practical role involves assisting with the Engineering and Technology Teams at BAE Systems Land UK in the small scale manufacture and testing of energetic materials. The candidate will assist Energetic Material/Process subject matter experts in providing energetic material advice and support.
Responsibilities:
1. Take reasonable care of own health and safety.

5. Use all equipment for the purpose intended.
6. Set high standards for SHE and lead by example.

8. Encourage the team to report incidents and make suggestions for SHE improvements.
9. Ensure actions to address SHE issues are prioritised and resourced appropriately.
Additional Information:
This is a non-hybrid role, as it is predominantly practical-based. The team works a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, (Apply online only) hrs.
