We’re looking for a proactive and forward-thinking HR Manager to play a critical role in driving initiatives that will shape our culture, employee experience and HR operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the HR team on a mission to cultivate and enhance our culture as we grow.
* Enabling our people managers with the right training, coaching and guidance to be the best leaders they can be, offering proactive support, guidance, and expert HR advice on people-related opportunities.
* Embedding best practices, process, tools and techniques to continuously improve operational HR efficiency and be able to measure success.
* Overseeing an exceptional onboarding experience and continuously seek ways to enhance the process.
* Working with the Head of HR to develop and maintain SPT Labtech’s reward strategy, run the annual pay review cycle, and ensure the team has a competitive, fit-for-purpose benefits package.
* Monitor employee engagement and collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend and drive improvements.
* Coach and develop your team to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.
* Act as a key escalation point for complex HR and payroll queries.
* Ensuring people data is accurately maintained and providing insightful reporting to support decision-making.
* Working closely with the Head of HR and the wider HR team to drive, develop, and enhance global HR initiatives, processes, and practices.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* CIPD Qualification – Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience)
* Strong background in HR operations, payroll, and employee relations
* Employer of Record experience would be advantageous
* Previous experience leading a small HR team (desirable but not essential)
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. European experience would be advantageous.
* Experience in driving HR transformation, implementing new systems, and improving HR processes
* Ability to manage HR data, analytics, and reporting to drive strategic decision-making.
* A demonstratable amount of experience in Operational HR for a scaling global organisation.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Ideally 3+ years HR management experience.
* Managing pay reviews, benefits packages, and engagement strategies
* Understanding or experience of behavioural profiling
* Exposure to organisational change or transformational projects
* Experience implementing or improving HR data and analytics reporting. With the ability to interpret the data to drive strategic decision making.
* Experience working in one of the following: life sciences, manufacturing, engineering, high technology or medical devices. Experience working for a private equity backed company desirable but not essential.
