Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary/Secondary's across Wigan! (Temporary to permanent available)
We are seeking several Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a group of our client schools in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is either considering a career in teaching or wants to gain valuable classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in a range of subjects.
Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and lesson delivery.
Help to differentiate work to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons.
Support students with literacy and numeracy development.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Assist with extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
Recent graduate with a strong academic background.
A desire to pursue a career in teaching or education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive approach to supporting students.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
